Montréal East Week 8

I've missed the snow
We had an interesting week this past week. We got to go to zone conferences and MLC (Mission Leadership Council), which was great, but that took up most of our time. We had Elder Hamilton of the 70 visit all of them which was awesome! We learned a lot. It was cool to see how each zone conference was very different based on the needs of the zone. He is definitely inspired!

We're teaching a man named Olamilekan, who is progressing very well. One thing we talked about at zone conference was the importance of seeing people often, and as we've tried to do that more with Olamilekan, he's progressed a lot! He is good friends with Taiwo, who we baptized two weeks ago, so he already has a great support system. He will most likely get baptized in December. It was cool to see that as we apply what our leader’s counsel us to do; miracles happen!

Eating Nigerian Food
I haven't talked much about food recently, and mom chastised me for that last week, so I will repent. Nigerian food is amazing! We've been eating it very frequently. Jolaf rice is a classic, Foo Foo with Okra Soup, Semoule with Egosi soup, Nigerian chicken, I could go on and on... It's so delicious! We had some of the best Semoule with Egosi soup at Sister Ogunniran's this past week, I'll attach a picture. The Nigerian culture is so cool, I love them so much!

Semoule with Egosi Soup
It was a great week, things are going well over here. The snow and cold are already crazy, and it's not even full-blown winter yet! It is very pretty, though. We'll see if it can beat the cold from last winter!

Snow in the neighborhood today
I love you so much, have a wonderful week! And happy Thanksgiving!
