MTC Week 5 - 12 Days Left!

Our District at the Provo Temple
We have been here at the MTC for 4 and a half weeks now, and we finally got our travel plans! We're leaving at 3:30 AM on Tuesday the 12th, and then we should arrive at Montréal at around 5:15 PM. We're all super excited! It's all becoming so real.

Our Zone at the Provo Temple
This week has really been awesome. Language studies are getting so much better, and it's crazy how much French we've learned in such a short period of time. I'm sure we won't be able to understand anyone when we get in, but it's still awesome how well we've gotten down the basics of the language. We've had a substitute this past week and he has a really good Quebecois accent, so we asked him to show us. It was SO weird! We could barely understand him! Luckily though all the teachers said that none of the missionaries ever pick up the accent, but that some of them get pretty good at putting it on sometimes. I hope my French isn't ruined by it!

Each of us in my district"borrowed" a rock from the MTC fountain a couple of weeks back.
We're going to throw them back our last night here like the districts before us in our zone.
We were able to host all the new missionaries this past Wednesday, and it was so much fun. It was sad to see so many people say goodbye to their families for the last time, but it was fun to be there to tell them all about the MTC. I was able to see Elder McMillian, Elder Day, and Elder Cullen! It was so great to see them all! We didn't have time to take pictures though, but I'll be sure to have one with each of them next week. I've also seen Elder Dow a few times, which has been great!

Other than those few updates, everything has been pretty much the same this week. Sorry for this being so short! When I get out into the field, I'm sure there's going to be a lot more to talk about, so these will turn around real fast! I'm having a ton of fun, and I love all of you. Hope everything is well!

Love,

Elder James
