| My companion and I with President and Sister Phillips |
We had an interesting week. Transfers happened this past
Thursday, which meant we were pretty busy with that. We worked at lot, which
was great! Here are some highlights.
For some reason, this past week we've been getting a lot of
Bible and Book of Mormon requests, which has been such a blessing. One of them
was from Jordan and he's super cool! He grew up Muslim, but his mom was
Christian, and he connected a lot more to the Christian faith. He started
studying the Bible, and somehow came across the Book of Mormon online. He
requested one, and that's when we met him! He only speaks a little bit of
English, so we have to use the Bible and the Book of Mormon in Arabic to teach
him lessons. It's super hard since it's near impossible for us to find the
verses we are looking for! But we did anyway, and he learned a lot and loved
it. He and his family invited us over to eat Jordanian food soon, and we're
excited!

Dropping off the missionaries at the airport!
|
We also got to pick up the new missionaries from the airport
this past Wednesday, and we were able to share their first moments in the
Mission field with them. It was such an awesome experience, and reminded me a
lot of what I was like when I first came into the field! It was cool to see
them super excited to be in Quebec. It helped me remember and build some of the
fire I felt when I was a brand-new missionary! It was special.

| Some Separatist graffiti we saw that I though was funny |
We also had the opportunity to take the departing missionaries
to the airport as they were on their way home. It was definitely hard to say
goodbye to them after looking up to them for more than the past year! But it
was a great time to get advice and to reflect on the past. They have all
changed so much on the mission! It was amazing to see and take part of it
Well it's been a great week, and we're having so much fun
here in Québec. It's starting to snow almost every day, so we're excited for
the winter! I love you all so much, and I hope you have a great week!
